On Thursday, September 23, the Graduate Division welcomed our newest graduate Bruins into the UCLA community at the Wilson Plaza! There were about 2,000 members who attended the event out of our 5,600 incoming first-year and 4,600 rising second-year graduate and professional students, representing 50 states, 2 U.S. territories, and 76 countries. Our newest Bruins enjoyed an eventful evening of delicious food, entertaining music by DJ Matt Graumann, raffle prizes, photo booths, fun games, and the camaraderie of other entering graduate students, faculty, and staff.
