The 2022 Doctoral Hooding Ceremony will be held in Royce Hall on Thursday, June 9, 2022 at 3:00 p.m. This is the official ceremony for the award of the doctoral degree.
Graduates are welcome and encouraged to attend both this ceremony and the one conducted by their department or school.

IMPORTANT HEALTH AND SAFETY INFORMATION UPDATE FOR THE JUNE 9TH DOCTORAL HOODING CEREMONY AT ROYCE HALL !
Guests who are not yet up-to-date on their COVID-19 vaccinations must remain masked while inside of Royce Hall. Masking is strongly recommended for ALL guests ages 2 and older.
Royce Hall strongly recommends that all guests be fully vaccinated or receive a negative COVID-19 test prior to attending any event.
If you are experiencing any symptoms of COVID-19 please do not come to campus.
For entrance into the ceremony, graduates will need to show their digital tickets (the graduate ticket is blue).
UPDATE ON CEREMONY PHOTOGRAPHS:
Graduates will be photographed by GradImages as they are being hooded during the ceremony. Please note that graduates may take off their masks to cross the stage and during hooding, provided that they are up to date on their COVID-19 vaccination (a person is up to date with their COVID-19 vaccination if they have received all recommended doses in the primary series and one booster when eligible). Graduates may purchase prints following the event and will be contacted directly by GradImages.
