Eligibility

• Graduate students must be in a PhD program at UCLA. Graduate students in other
  doctoral degree programs (e.g., ScD, PsyD, EdD, DNP, etc.) are not eligible.
• Fall 2025 Graduates are not eligible
• Must have Advanced to Candidacy (ATC) by October 2025

2025-2026 Important Dates

• Application Opened: TBD
• Application Closed: TBD
• Candidate Selection: December 2025
• UCLA BGHS Candidate Induction: January 2026

Application Requirements and Material

1. Online application including recommendation process
2. Narrative Statement
3. Unofficial copy of your UCLA transcript.
4. A current Curriculum Vitae (CV)
5. Statement of Confidentiality Waiver

*Recommendation must be completed by one of the following: Nominee’s Dissertation Advisor, Graduate Faculty Member invested in the Nominee’s research or UCLA faculty member, Dean or Director

Responsibility Contract will be shared with each candidate upon admission to the program
