UCLA Graduate Writing Center

The UCLA Graduate Writing Center offers free appointments with friendly, experienced writing consultants to all registered UCLA graduate and professional school students. Many of the writing consultants have received extra-mural fellowships, and you can find out more information by looking at their staff bios. Watch some of their grant and fellowship workshops online. Appointment hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. The center is located in the Student Activities Center, room B11A.

Fellowship resource and sample archive

At the GWC fellowship resource and sample archive you’ll find resources to help with applying for major extramural fellowships, including links and videos as well as samples of successful application essays. Registered UCLA graduate students may request access.

UCLA Scholarship Resource Center

The UCLA Scholarship Resource Center offers writing assistance to UCLA undergraduate, graduate and professional school students free of charge. One-on-one appointments are available 11:00 am to 6:00 pm throughout the academic year and 12:00 pm to 5:00 pm during the summer. The center is located Covel Commons, room 233.
