In addition to the minimum University requirements and those listed above, all applicants are expected to submit a statement of purpose and a writing sample. Applicants must have an undergraduate major in Scandinavian languages or equivalent. A placement examination in the Scandinavian languages may be required. For the Ph.D. degree in Germanic Languages with Scandinavian literature as a major or minor field, applicants should see the Ph.D. in Germanic Languages. |
