In addition to the University's minimum requirements and those listed above, all applicants are expected to submit a statement of purpose and a personal statement.> Applicants should hold a bachelor’s degree in an appropriate field with a grade point average of at least 3.2 (on a four point scale) in upper division courses. Applicants should hold an undergraduate or post-baccalaureate certificate or minor in Geospatial information Systems or geospatial technology, OR have taken at least five quarter or three semester courses of substantial upper division GIS or geospatial technology coursework, OR have equivalent professional experience in geospatial technology. Applicants should submit a statement detailing their relevant academic preparation or work experience that has prepared them for graduate study in GIS; a resume or CV may be used to supplement this statement. |
