In addition to the University's minimum requirements and those listed above, all applicants are expected to submit a statement of purpose. Management, M.B.A./Computer Science, M.S. The Anderson Graduate School of Management and the Department of Computer Science in the School of Engineering and Applied Science offer a concurrent degree program which enables the student to complete the requirements for the M.S. in Computer Science and the M.B.A. in three academic years. Interested applicants should contact the M.B.A. program office for details. Ph.D.: Applicants to the Ph.D. program who hold the MS degree should have completed the requirements for the M.S. degree with at least a 3.5 grade-point average and should also have demonstrated creative ability. The M.S. degree is normally not required for admission to the Ph.D. program. Over the last five years, 50% to 80% of those admitted to the Ph.D. program have earned only a bachelor's degree. Admittees who hold the bachelor's degree only typically have earned at least a 3.6 grade point average and have demonstrated a strong aptitude for graduate study and research in the GRE scores, letters of recommendation, statement of purpose, and research or industry experience. |
